What is Word Bible Institute?
Word Bible Institute (WBI) is a Bible and ministry training institute dedicated to providing the best quality education and training to Christians and churches. WBI is for everyone. Our signature Certificate in Christian Ministry is open to all members of the body of Christ because all members of the body of Christ are ministers. WBI's training is grounded in and completely based on Scripture. At WBI, we discuss and explore what the Bible says, what God tells us to do, how to do it, and how to do God word effectively and bear much fruit to the glory of God the Father (Matthew 28:19-20; John 15:5-8).
What courses will I take?
Each program has a set number and specific list of courses. The Certificate in Christian Ministry consists of courses that build knowledge and competency in biblical ministry. The Certificate in Christian Leadership contains essential leadership training for anyone in a position of influence over or responsibility for others. In the Certificate in Biblical Studies, you will gain a deep, intimate, advanced understanding of both what the Bible is and the content of the Bible. The Certificate in Bible Teaching prepares you to intentionally and effectively teach God's Word. Each of WBI's other advanced certificates programs are specialized, guided learning paths designed to help you grow into and maximize a particular ministry calling. WBI's degree programs similarly prepare you for a variety of ministry callings.
What's the process like once I enroll in a program?
Once you enroll in a program at WBI, you will be matched with an instructor who will guide you through your learning program. You will receive instant access to your courses. So you don't have to wait on your instructor to get started. We recommend accessing your first course right away and starting it as soon as possible. The learning process at WBI is mentored, but it is self-paced. So it requires consistency and discipline on the students' part. The courses are competency-based. So once you master a lesson, you can move on to the next lesson. When you complete a course, you can jump right into another one until you complete your program and earn your certificate.
